1. About Your GRLLR Table BBQ

With the GRLLR table grill, you can prepare the most delicious food without
having to leave the table. The tradition of Shichirin grilling finds its origin in
Japan, centuries ago. GRLLR got inspired by its rich history, and the atmosphere
it creates so we can bring all of that goodness to YOUR table! The GRLLR
Table BBQ is perfect to use with your friends and family, to create cosy shared
memories, surrounded by good food, appetising aromas and the sound of the
crackling fire.

The ceramic used for the GRLLR table grill ensures a sturdy barbecue that is
not only visually pleasing but also retains heat efficiently. The ventilation on the
side of the table barbecue allows ideal adjustment of airflow and temperature.
The stainless-steel grid is designed especially for smaller pieces of food.

2. Preparing the Table Grill

It is highly recommended to use a firestarter to light the table grill. Place
2-3 handsful of charcoal in the firestarter and light up the charcoal by
using firelighters. Once the charcoal is lit, carefully pour these into the
table barbecue.
If necessary use firelighters to light the barbecue.
DO NOT use petrol, turpentine, spirit, alcohol or any other chemicals to
(re)light the table grill.
DO NOT add more than 2-3 handsful of charcoal into the table barbecue.
If the temperature increases too fast, the table barbecue may be
damaged.
Let the fire burn until all fuel is used up and the fire is extinguished.
You may now use your table grill for cooking and grilling.

3. Lighting, Use, and Safety

* Once in use make sure the table grill is on a solid, flat, horizontal, heatresistant,
and non-flammable surface, away from any flammable objects.

- Clear 2 meters above the table barbecue once in use. The heat may
damage anything that is closer than 2 meters.
- It is highly recommended to use a firestarter to light the table grill. Place
2-3 handsful of charcoal in the firestarter and light up the charcoal by
using firelighters. Once the charcoal is lit, carefully pour these into the
table barbecue.
- DO NOT use petrol, turpentine, spirit, alcohol or any other chemicals to
(re)light the table grill.
- To control the airflow and temperature use the bottom ventilation. Open it
for more air and close it to lower the temperature.
- Light the charcoal for at least 30 minutes before using it. This enables the
charcoal to produce a layer of ash. Once the layer of ash shows up it is
safe to grill on the table grill. DO NOT grill before there is a layer of ash on
the charcoal.
- It is highly recommended to not move or turn the charcoal once it is hot.
This enables the charcoal to burn more evenly and efficiently.
- Once the table grill is lit, use heat-resistant gloves to touch the hot
ceramic.

4. Extinguish the Table Grill

down.

- DO NOT use water or extinguishing agents to speed up the process. This
may damage the table grill.

5. Charcoal Refilling

* Even with closed air holes, the table barbecue may remain at a high
temperature for a few hours. If you wish to use your table grill longer,
you may need to add more charcoal. You may only lift the grill using the
included grill lifter.

- DO NOT exceed the maximum of 2-3 handsful of charcoal in the ceramic
table grill.

6. Cleaning the Table Grill

To remove food and dirt from the grill, you may light up the grill and bring it
to a temperature of 260 degrees Celcius so the grill grid burns clean.
DO NOT use water or other types of cleaning products to clean the inside
of your table grill. The inner walls are porous and may absorb all liquids.
This may damage your table barbecue. If a lot of soot has formed on the
inside of the ceramic, let it completely cool down and use a soft brush to
scrape away the carbon residues for the next use.
To clean the grills and grates, please use water and a detergent without an
abrasive. Only use this once completely cooled down.
In order to clean the exterior of the table barbecue, cool it down
completely and use a damp cloth with mild detergent.
